The other view sees life as more than physics and chemistry. It interprets health as more than just physical well-being but gives special credence to less measurable attributes such as emotional, spiritual, psychological, social, and environmental well-being. It values the innate perfection within and sees a lack of health as being due to interferences (physical traumas, emotional stressors, and environmental toxins) to one’s potential. By correcting these interferences, the body is able to repair and heal and re-establish normal homeostatic balance. Interestingly, there are no side effects to correcting these interferences (there are no dangerous side effects to quitting smoking or replacing toxic foods with more natural products.) Simply put, this more contemporary view of health is in line with our current understanding of the universe in terms of Quantum physics. We call it Vitalism, which presents itself as the understanding of a beautiful self-developing, self-evolving, self-adapting, and self-healing process called LIFE.
